The 2025 Jeep Compass is a compact SUV that will continue to deliver the same stellar off-road performance that Jeep is known for. It will also have a high level of comfort, advanced technology and attractive styling. It's expected to arrive toward the end of 2024 and it will come with standard four-wheel drive along with a spacious interior. Because Jeep is planning a more comprehensive makeover for 2027 the Compass gets relatively modest updates for 2025. Improved performance and efficiency

The Jeep Compass for 2025 will provide a new, more powerful engine with more muscular performance and better fuel efficiency. The new 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine delivers best-in-class standard 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. In addition, the engine will be teamed up with an automatic transmission to give you smoother shifting and enhanced performance. Every model will give you the outstanding traction of a Jeep four-wheel drive system. Fuel efficiency in every new Jeep Compass will be an estimated 24 MPG on city streets and up to 32 MPG on the highway.

Off-road capability

The 2025 Jeep Compass will continue to give you exceptional off-road features like the available Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 System in the Trailhawk model. That would give you a class-leading 20:1 crawl ratio. You'll get the kind of first-rate traction and control you expect from a Jeep when you're making your way across challenging terrain. The Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System in the Trailhawk allows you to match performance with kind of terrain you're driving over. Your mode choices will include Sand, Snow, Mud and Rock. What's more, the new 2025 Jeep Compass will give you more ground clearance plus improved approach and departure angles.

Exterior highlights

New for this year is the limited edition Joose (pronounced "whose") exterior paint color that will be available later in the year. Advanced LED lighting technology includes available premium LED reflector headlamps and taillamps. You can also get available foglamps to help you drive at night or in foggy weather. The High Altitude edition has front and rear styling including front and rear fascias and 19-inch Painted Satin Granite Crystal aluminum wheels. Another available upgrade is a foot-activated power liftgate that can make it easier to load and unload cargo.

Trim levels

The new Compass lineup includes the Sport, Limited, Latitude and Trailhawk. With the Trailhawk you'll get one-inch factory lift skid plates, aggressive off-road tires and Jeep's signature red tow hooks. This model also comes with hill descent control and can ford up to 19 inches of water. When it's properly equipped, the 2025 Jeep Compass will give you up to 2,000 pounds of towing capability.

Technology

New advanced tech in the 2025 Jeep Compass includes an available 10.25-inch frameless digital cluster, an available 10.1-inch digital infotainment touchscreen and the award-winning Uconnect® 5 system. It's your connection to wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ giving you easy access to your smartphone.

Safety features

Standard safety features in the new 2025 Jeep Compass include drowsy driver detection, pedestrian automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection, to alert you when another vehicle is passing behind you.
